A HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF MONTREAL

Following a change of ownership and a rebrand, Hotel Ambrose needed help redefining its visual identity to target younger travellers. To reflect the hotel’s new direction, business cards, stationery, feedback cards, door hangers and guest directories were all updated with a consistent look and feel.

The challenge was to refresh the brand without straying from tradition and core values; It was important to not come off as a trendy boutique hotel. To complement Hotel Ambrose’s newly-renovated, Victorian-style interiors, the design was kept clean and minimalistic, for a modern touch to a timeless classic.

WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Hotel Ambrose’s website design was kept consistent with the rest of its visual identity. The user interface was simplified many times over in order to streamline the user experience.

Users can book rooms with the custom-built widget with BookingButton integration, guests can order room service from Cafe Ambrose on a custom-built ordering system and discover Montreal with the map with curated tourist attractions.

The website is fully cross-browser compatible, mobile-responsive and optimized for SEO. Content could be edited with a minimum of technical knowledge by using ROYALTRI’s custom content management system (CMS). Facebook Messenger was also integrated to allow for real-time support.
